Flexible Strap Child Safety Lock for Drawers & Cabinets

Some drawers and cupboards are easy for small children to pull open because the handles and door edges remain fully accessible. This flexible child safety lock connects two surfaces with a fabric strap, helping keep the door or drawer closed until the fastening end is released.

Why You’ll Love It

Works across different furniture layouts
The flexible strap can span two front-facing surfaces or bend around a cabinet corner, making the design more adaptable than a completely rigid latch. The gallery shows it fitted to drawers and cabinet doors in both arrangements.

Adds an extra opening step
Instead of allowing a drawer or cabinet to pull open immediately, the strap keeps the two attachment points connected until the lock is released.

Open the furniture when you need access
The images show one fastening end disengaged so the drawer or cabinet can open while the other side remains attached.

Long enough to bridge edges and corners
A gallery sizing image shows the lock at approximately 21 cm long × 5 cm wide, giving the flexible section room to span between its two mounting points.

The live page lists the construction only as Mixed Materials, so the exact strap fibre, plastic type and attachment material should not be specified.
